Health Care
Health Care programs are designed for students who wish to work in the field of medicine. Students will learn human anatomy and physiology, the pathology of diseases, and the ins and outs of patient care. To do well, a student must have a proficient understanding of science and math, and the ability to think on one's feet. It is a particularly difficult education process.
While there are many careers in health care, the most obvious career path is to go to medical school and become a doctor. A student must have exemplary grades through all four years of undergraduate school in order to be admitted to med school, much less become a doctor.
Medical school is a difficult multi-year affair that can be very expensive. After successful completion, a graduate must spend several years as a resident physician under a licensed physician before becoming a doctor. Fortunately, medicine happens to be one of the most lucrative fields on the career spectrum.
