Engineering
Studying Engineering is the chosen path for anyone who wants to work in the field of technology. If we are going to perfect fuel cells to move us across the land, engineers will be the ones to do it. If we want to colonize the Moon or Mars, or explore the outer reaches of space, it will be engineers who get us there. If an amputee is ever going to have a fully functioning/feeling prosthetic, it will be Engineers who discover how. Engineers are the innovators who solve many of the world's most complex problems. In our technology driven era, the role of the engineer in society has never been more important.
There are concentrations and opportunities for dual majors stretching across many fields for students to specialize in based on what career he or she wants to pursue. Engineering will deal heavily with mathematics and science, so students who aren't number-crunchers will get eaten alive by the math-heavy curriculum.
But for students who want to be on the cutting edge and come up with the next big breakthrough, Engineering is the way to go.
