Justice Studies is an interdisciplinary major that focuses not only on criminal justice but also in other relevant fields like sociology, psychology, law, the humanities, and political science.  Cumulatively, it makes for a degree that prepares students for a career in many fields. 

Just because it is a broadly based area of study, don't think that any subjects get neglected.  With a degree in Justice Studies a graduate would be just as prepared for law school as they would be for a career in  law enforcement.
